Apartments Elvira

Sea front apartment with a huge balcony. Two spacious rooms. There are parking spaces available. The hosts were very nice and received us very well! The little village is very relaxing and it has three restaurants, but if you wish, be prepared to bring groceries before, as there are no supermarket or grocery store nearby.

The kitchen could be better equipped.

The apartment is nice but very spartan, the bare minimum of furniture. Nowhere to hang bags or jackets - a simple coat hanger or at least a couple of hooks in the hallway is strongly recommended. ATTENTION! Section of the road from Sveta Nedilja to the route 116 (to Stari Grad) is under construction. The only way to/from the village is via Jelsa. So if you have plans on the west side of the island (like visiting Hvar or Stari Grad or lavender fields etc), you'll have to consider this detour (appr half an hour till Jelsa). Basically the village is at the end of the world right now, and the road till Jelsa is not especially comfortable (the smallest tunnel in the world, a serpentine mountain road mostly without a fender, some dangerously narrow places in the villages - too narrow for two cars to drive by normally). If you are used to these Croatian specifics, that won't be a problem. ATTENTION-2! There are construction works in the neighbouring house starting at 8-30 am everyday including Saturday, so if you plan to enjoy peace and quietness, you'll have to think twice :) The village is located on a steep slope, so the houses are very near to each other.

Not a thing

We stayed at the studio apartment on the ground floor , with a big balcony and beautiful sea view. Apartman was sparkling clean, with all you need while on vacation. Distance to the beach was just one minute walk, clear blue water, amazing for cliff diving. Elvira was great host, always on disposal if we needed something. Sure to be back when we visit Hvar again :)

The place was spacious, and it was genuinely better than the pictures. Everything was clean and tidy, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The staff is nice and friendly. The location is in the more peaceful part of Hvar island, very quiet and a great place to relax. The small local beaches are very close, and there are a couple restaurants and a bakery nearby. Overall a very pleasant experience for a relaxing holiday.
