Very nice place. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.

The unit was equipped with everything we needed. The view from the main bedroom, living room, and balcony is incredible. Lovely bedding and had a good rest.

Lift not working had to walk to 8th floor by steps

Lift was broken and 8 floor is a lot of stairs, but I was told before the time. Would have been awesome if the lift was working, but I know it was beyo d your contrl

The flat is on the 8th floor. So views over the bay are great. You are one street from the beach road. The balcony has a great little sitting area to enjoy your coffee in the morning or watching the sunset with a glass of wine in the evening. The apartment has 2 bathrooms one with bath the other with a shower. The two bedrooms are of good size, one with double bed with the on suit shower and the 2nd bedroom with two single beds. Pillows were very comfy. Wifi is provided and DSTV. Kitchen, Dining area and livingroom is one big room. Kitchen is more then adequate with big fridge. Milk was provided for us as a welcome pack which was nice. We were also able to leave our luggage in the flat before check-in time, we met the cleaner there and she let us in and provided the keys to the flat which was nice as we didn't want to leave it in the car the whole day. The property has high fence and electric gate entrance and a dedicated car parking space for the flat. There is also a swimming pool on the property.

We never met the caretaker. We used WhatsApp to contact him. We were told that we would get a refresh service during stay which was supposed to take place on the Thursday as Friday was a public holiday. The cleaner never showed up. We contacted the caretaker to not bother that night as we were leaving on the Monday, he was a but slow with responding. I also contacted Carol the owner who was always very quick to reply to any questions. Be aware that in South Africa load shedding is a way of life now. So this will mean no electricity a couple of times a day. There are no generations in the flat so you won't have power. Electric lamps were provided. The lift to the 8th floor was working as there is a generator for the lift and electric security gate at the entrance to the property. Unlucky for us on the last night we got back the lift was not working and the next morning it had not been fixed. Luckily my niece carried all our luggage down the stairs as my 77 year old mother was not able to carry her bags.
