Villa Barbara

The property is exceptional, the views are amazing, everything is great. The hosts are very kind they left a bottle of prosecco and treats for the dogies. They also gave us a bunch of information about the area and things to do. Out of a two week trip in Sicily this was our favorite place.

The kitchen ware (pots and pans, knives etc), could be up dated. That was the only issue.

Amazing villa with breathtaking views of the Sea and Giardini Naxos. Very comfortable sofa and towels, coffee and cakes for breakfast provided. Swimming pool was an amazing addition. The place is very quiet and private. Titti and her father were very welcoming and helpful, about the activities to do around the area. Highly recommended for total relaxation. Walking distance to supermarket, beach and restaurants.

I think it should be clearer on the on booking.com ad the amount of rooms and distribution as it was not clear from the description/pictures. One bed was on the living room with the sofa bed, and it was described as 2 different bedrooms. Not ideal for 4 adults. Titti told us straight away via message about the distribution but it should be outlined on the ad. The ad also mentioned a private beach but it is more that the beaches and centre of giardini naxos are within walking distance.There is only air conditioning in the living room and it is such a large space that it takes a long time to cool it. No aircon on the rooms, but a fan is provided. I must admit the fan was enough to keep us fresh in the room. There was some dust around, this could have also been improved.

A most wonderful oasis with the most stunning views from the huge patio of Taomina and the beach below. Villa Barbara was more than we expected. The apartment was large and well equipped, wonderful for 4 people. The pool area was beautiful, wonderful for keeping cool in the heat of August

Loved everything about Villa Barbara! The villa is perfect for a family of four quiet, light, airy, spacious, the terrace is such an incredible bonus, private space with table tennis and stunning views. The washing machine was such a bonus making family life easy. Words can not describe how beautiful the pool, it's setting and gardens are, It's like paradise and worth visiting for that alone. Such a haven, we spent so much more time at the Villa than we had planned because of this. We loved chatting to Titti and her family, learning about the history of the villa and the area. As hosts, they were exceptional, so helpful on arrival and departure when our flights were delayed, provided fruit and breakfast. Trips to Taormina are easy on the bus, so worth visiting, would recommend the Cannoli at Roberto's! We went in July, it was so hot and we couldn't face some day trips we had planned (as I say it's not a bad thing because we were so happy where we were) we all had the most amazing time and will be going back, but would probably try april/May in order to explore the island more!

A very beautiful villa with a beautiful terrace and a view of the whole coast and Taormina, the husband and wife of the owner were very kind and left fresh fruit for us upon arrival. During our stay, our car had a flat tire, and they cooperated very well with us and brought a repairman themselves and changed the tire of our car within 20 minutes at a reasonable price.

The host was amazing all through our stay. Our car broke down close to the villa and she brought her car and helped transferring our luggage to the villa. A lot of fresh fruit and flowers were on display at arrival! Nice touch!

The pool was shared and host were always happy to give us as much privacy as we wanted. We didn't mind it!

The location for us was great, the apartment we stayed in has a huge terrace with a beautiful view of the sea and Taormine, pool is surrounded by a beautiful garden with lots of plants. The owner Titti is very hospitable, and we appreciated the fact that she allowed us to check in earlier and stay longer than the standard check-out. You just have to know that it is not a modern apartment, there are a few things that could be renovated.
