Station House

Great host and super comfy flat! The shower was a proper delight! Well located for anyone wanting to visit South Wales and have walks in the Brecon Beacons. Great amenities around with a couple of convenience stores and restaurants in the same street.

superb little apartment for a small group to stay in and enjoy south wales. Close to bike park wales and other attractions, this little place is warm, comfy and well equipped, it is also very clean and clearly very well run. it ticks all the boxes and more !

Great self contained accomodation in a quiet place. The place was clean, the bedrooms were a good size and so was the bathroom. The living area was joined by the kitchen which had enough space for us. It had a washing machine which was great as we got soaked one evening and didn't want our clothes smelling of damp. It was good to have off road parking as the road did get full with cars at times. The area was quiet considering the amount of traffic that went past and I liked watching the river flow at the side of the property. It had a few convenience stores and a couple of take aways. The train station is a few minutes walk and takes no time at all to travel to Merthyr Tydfil.

We didn't like the bugs flying about from the river, they almost covered the front door, not the owners fault. The place could do with a door curtain and darker curtains in the bedrooms. There were no baking tray's in the cupboards for cooking, just a very large grill looking tray. The area is in need of regeneration, the food places were poorly hygiene rated and there didn't seem like there was a cafe around. The pubs looked uninviting and the convenience stores were very dated again not the owners fault.

Great location, with shops,pubs and transport links right on your doorstep. A very clean property, and nicely furnished too. Super comfy beds. Easy access to bike park Wales,Cardiff and the brecon beacons. Host is really friendly and tea,coffee sugar available upon arrival, which was nice.

very nice spot for rest. And location to BPW park is close . VERY NICE .definitely coming back .
