Property on main street so could be noisy.

The host was warm and friendly with great suggestions on where to eat.

Very clean, big and newly renovated accommodation. Local produce basket as a welcome gift is a huge bonus. Thank you. Huge terrace. Central location. Next to the shop for essentials. Good communication with a host. Parking behind the property

Very, very close to the street, so you cannot open the bedroom windows. Soap or shampoo in the bathroom would be nice.

Great host, free parking behind the building, fast free wifi, many useful appliances in the kitchen, clean apartment, modern look, good location to explore the island of Sao Miguel, supermarket next door.

Next to a busy street, but not a deal breaker, it gets quiet after sunset.

Photos exactly as described, shower & bathroom facilities functioned as they should & the beds were extremely comfortable. Location was perfect for my parents as they are from Rabo de piexe. It’s not a dangerous area, if you look up the area is was the poorest town in Sao Miguel over 50 years ago. Much as changed given the diaspora and some remained the same. They loved that they can walk to the homes of relatives and friends. We loved that we could walk to the street festivals.

One bathroom which is not ideal with two couples. I’d recommend for one couple but that’s just my opinion. I did not mind the kitchen table set up but my parents are elderly and they did not like it, they ended up pulling in the patio set to eat breakfast or lunch. This is something you want to think about as it’s high chairs and island table set up. I did not mind the street noise (specifically the revving car engines) but I slept with the windows closed. This may be an issue for light sleepers. We came may early June, we never were bothered by the heat but there is only one air conditioner and it’s in the living room/kitchen area this maybe an issue if you come july/august as it does get HOT however the air conditioner is strong from when we turned it on to see. Aside from all things mentioned, we did find it to be very humid in the house and so we had to open the windows while we were in the house and when awake, again humidity can be an issue if your elderly and with lung issues.
