SunSet Bastian Apartment

Well maintained and equipped to a high standard. We were delayed due to a late flight but were met late at night with courtesy and kindness

With a location like this there can sometimes be a little street noise

Its location was perfect and it had everything we needed. We’ll be coming back.

The apartment was a very short walk to La Concha beach, fantastic bars and restaurants, supermarkets and an easy walk to Old Town so it’s in a perfect location. The kitchen was very well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, full stove top and even an oven. Our host left cokes, beers, milk, bottled water, a cake, sweets as well as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar which made us feel very welcomed and at home. The photos show the true size of the apartment which was really comfortable. The TV even had Netflix so we could watch familiar shows in English. We were given 4 sets of keys which was really handy as we often each wanted to do our own thing. On our last morning we asked our host to order a taxi for us as our Spanish isn’t very good and she arranged one straight away. We will absolutely stay here again if we come back to San Sebastián

The location of the house was perfect, just a block from the beach. The owner was very attentive, and whenever we had a question before and after we arrived, he got back to us immediately. The house had very good facilities. It was very clean. Our owner left water, beer, cola, cake, chocolate, Nespresso coffee. There was also enough toilet paper and paper towels.

There was a lot of noise in the neighborhood bar until the morning, and it sounded like people were talking in your bedroom. Also, since the stairs of the apartment were wooden, the footsteps of the neighbors going up and down could be heard quite a bit into the house.

The apartment was beautiful and was in a fantastic location. It was within walking distance to all places, including the beach & the historic centre. Although we didn't meet Gorka in person, he was very kind & generous over the message service WhatsApp. His brother greeted us at the apartment & he was a gentleman. The apartment had welcome items, which is a lovely gesture. Tea, coffee, cake, water, beer coke etc. The only negative for this area is

Very spacious apartment with wood/stone exposed walls. High celling makes the space even more open. Newly renovated. Bedrooms are relatively large with comfortable beds, matrass, and pillows. Kitchen is fully equipped ( we didn't use it ) but I assume that if coming in summer for 1 week vacation can make use of it. The host offered coffee, tea, milk ,water, and breakfast cake which was a nice touch. Location- can not be better, literally 100 steps to the promenade and the LA Concha beach. 10 min walking to the Old town.

Cons: no sound-isolation between apartments so one can hear steps upstairs ( probably also because floors are not covered so it's resonates), but it wasn't a problem, since guests upstairs were there seems for no more than 30 min.
