Eden On The Bay 108

The location is amazing as the property is right on the beach and the shops are literally downstairs. Clive is always on the ball. When we found that the washing machine wasnt working, he made arrangements to get a new one (arrived 3 days after we arrived, and they did want to install but we were not going to be there and dont leave keys. toilet seat was replaced in en suite as we arrived - so with the issues going on Clive was on top of things. A great host as he gets to things quickly

We had a number of issues. The washing machine didnt work so i was forced to go to the laundromat every morning and make sure i was back to collect every evening. The internet was fine for our computers but didnt work with the TV's in the room and lounge (slow internet meant it kept on stopping and then re-loading). I always select a property by looking at the lounge suite as we normally spend the evenings relaxing. The cushions were slanted and hard. The tiles on the balcony were very loose so we didnt spend time out there. The scullery tap was very loose

Clive the manager - Clive, was not very helpful regarding the blocked drain in the shower (clearly not our fault) and water had leaked under the door into the dining area ..my daughter and I had alerted him about the problem and all he gave us was a mop ( 1 hour later)and old towels to clean it up Ourselves !!!!! He came up with all sorts of excuses telling us it's was not his problem and we had to sort it out- clean it ourselves!!!! This place was not cheap and we ended up cleaning and cleaning for over 3 hours!!!!!!!No maintenance assistance!!!!very POOR SERVICE from Clive.

They were busy grinding and working in the shopping mall , machines and Sounds was terrible loud and very noisy

We loved the relaxing and comfortable stay. This is our 3rd Cape Town vacation at Eden on the Bay, and apartment 108 was the best experience out of all 3 stays. We plan on returning next time and would like to thank HostAgents for a good experience!
