It was ideally situated to explore the area. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Mount Etna and Taormina were often in clear view. It was spacious and well-equipped.

The Wi-Fi was down for a few days, but the owner quickly fixed it. A corridor light was out, which was a minor problem. It was on a major road and the traffic was noisy, but that was because of the apartment’s central location. One felt immersed in the locality. Parking was on the street outside, but a spot could always be found.

The place is very big and sapcious except of bathroom. Owners are very friendly and they did everything to made the stay comfortable.

Super cool fish store next door: written prices (no need to ask), seller speaks good English and very friendly, can help you to choose, staff clean fish for you in a way you need it. They can also prepare take a way food for you. Fried calamari were very-very tasty. Also 5min walk to the beach, 2 min to the bus stop, 2 min to the food store. Nice and clean apartment with a lot of space. Air condition. Laundry drying rack. Well equipped kitchen. Some sweets for the breakfast, coffee, sugar, salt, oil and pasta. When we discovered, that the shower is broken, the owner fixed it the same day. The owner is flexible regarding check-in and check-out time. In general we liked the stay there, just don't expect too much.

There was no WiFi at all. The owner didn't let us know in advance, didn't fix it, didn't suggest any alternative and didn't agree on any even symbolic discount. Instead he told us - there is free data roaming in EU, you can use you mobile data. What? Would we like to use our mobile data, we would pay less price for apartments without WiFi. The bath room is super small. To enter the shower cabin you literary have to step over WC. Weak water flow in the shower. No chance to enjoy balcony for breakfast or lunch as the street is full of cars and very noisy. No wardrobe in the whole apartment. There are special Italian sockets and no adapters. Mind to have your own beach accessories like umbrella or mat.

Exceptionally warm welcome (coffee, cookies, soft drinks, etc.) and nice conversation with the hosts. Great location: close to the beach and supermarket, fish store. Over the railroad there is a few good pizzerias. Nearly the bus stop (Giargini-Naxos Dalmazia). The apartment is big, with well equipped kitchen. Picturesque view on the mountain.

There are few minor issues too: - the street is quite busy almost 24/7 so you have to close the window, in other case it's might be too loud - quite small shower cabin, but still useful
