AUAmazing location and incredibly comfortable.
NZNZA quirky stay in a shepherds hut with ensuite bathroom overlooking Hanmer Springs and on to the mountains beyond. It was the first really chilly day of the winter but the hut warms up quickly with the under bench heater and then the wood burning stove took over. Quirky handwashing tap in the bathroom which took us a while to notice :) Easy walk in to the town and also the surrounding conical hill track.
This is the first stay where the hot tub has not been prepared for arrival and it took us a few hours to get the heat going, good once it was ready. A bit more outside lighting as the top steps by the hot tub are a bit tricky in the dark?
NZAUWhat a perfect stay! Such a great set up for a tiny home, with scenic valley and mountain views. We really enjoyed our stay and it was a shame we didn’t spend a second night!
