The property was very well equipped and the owners charming. The location was perfect and surprisingly peaceful considering its in the heart of Hurstpierpoint. Walking distance to a variety of excellent purveyors of everything from Fortnum and Mason baskets (always useful), super Deli and great coffee, especially FUEL . I have no hesitation in approving this little gem.

The bed pillows were too heavy for my liking…….this really was the only thing I could possibly raise an adverse comment on

No parking adjacent to the Lodge. Had to park in a public car park nearby.

The Lodge is self-catering. Everything was perfect at The Lodge. This was my second stay - it certainly hadn't lost any of its first-impression charm. Location is excellent.

Fantastic and cosy accommodation, all the comforts of home and a really comfy bed.

Trouble with tv, couldn't get normal channels, but was a minor thing.
