Beautiful location

WiFi is lacking, and should really be considered.

On the beach, quiet and restful, comfortable bedding. Thank you so much for the warm welcome Heidi, we had a great time!

We loved the view. The bed was comfy enough .

My husband was in the Milpark for 6 month with bleeding on the brain. So we had ENOUGH of hospital facilities OR anything that remotely reminded us of a hospital. He has recovered fantastically so we were disappointed that the room felt like a hospital room. Too low basins , disability toilet . It felt odd . When i booked I missed that they notified us that the room was in fact a disability room . So we would not recommend any couple to book the room , especially if the last thing you want to see is a disability unit. The place also looked a bit dilapidated and even though it was clean , it was not spotless. Our other concern was that the house next door had a extractor fan that blew all the bad smells right to where we sat on the stoep. We cancelled the cheese and wine we had planned because the smell/smoke was overbearing. They need to move the extractor to the roof .

You pay for the view basically. The view is stunning no question about it. However, the small studio is OK. It is a bit warn down. Facilities are basic but all fully functional. You have an OK bathroom. The kitchen has all you need. The host was friendly and came on time, though not on site so you need to have a South African mobile phone with you. I could not get any mobile 3G or 4G signal because the place is in the countryside by the ocean (this is of course not the owners fault or problem), but it makes communication very difficult, when there is also no Wi-FI. Therefore, this part was a small nuisance.

There was no WI-FI which was clearly a minus. Difficult to get the key because of above mentioned mobile issues. A bit on the side of being overpriced, but again you pay for the nice view.
