Rose Barn

Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful hosts and excellent accommodation. Rose Barn had everything we needed and is kept to a high standard . The complimentary bread, jam, butter and milk were a very welcome touch.

The location was lovely. The Barn was clean and comfortable and perfect for my short holiday. The hosts were very friendly - although they were away for much of my stay. I loved staying there.

It would have been nice to have an information file. I didn't need the heating on but wouldn't have known how to switch it on. Also, I didn't realise that there was a hotplate type hob but again I didn't need it.

Lovely little property in a peaceful village. Anna,Jonathan and their son Jeremy were warm and welcoming and the homemade bred and jams along with other breakfast provisions were delicious and a lovely thought. The bed was king-size and super comfortable, and very clean.

The cottage was a delightful conversion of a characterful barn in the grounds of a private country house. The area was tranquil and the decoration and facilities in the cottage of high quality. While there was full equipment for self-catering, the arrival gifts of freshly baked bread and home-made preserves were a very pleasant bonus. I enjoyed meeting the owner, who was both helpful and friendly. I would heartily recommend Rose Barn for anyone wishing to self-cater during a stay in the area, either single or a couple.

It was close to where I needed to be

On arrival it was very dark and small space to manoeuvre the car to park the car in the space they want u to park in due to other cars being Parker’s tthere is big stone boulders plotted around that my sensors didn’t pick up on and as a result I reversed in to one damaging my car Once in the property n taking my shoes off the fridge had been switched off so I stood in that n then cleaned up The bathroom sink was very dirty n the property itself is very cold there is no oven

Ideal space with everything you need for a short stay.

A little more bathroom storage would make it perfect - but a minor point overall.

Very comfortable, new, warm and enjoyable. We used it as a home base between Avebury and Stonehenge. We had a very nice meal at a local pub the owners recommended.

Only challenge was finding it! A number on the street might be nice.
