We could have done with some heat in the bathroom and to dry the towels

A wonderful little home away from home, clean, comfy, amazing shower all set in a wonderful courtyard of an amazing property.

Only negatives were a tiny TV which was difficult to see from the comfy chairs and there is only a portable camping hob to cook on. But neither would put me off staying there again.

Could have done with a mirror - not necessarily fixed - so could dry my hair properly. The main concern was the amount of mould and discolouration of the grout in the shower room. Had to persuade hubby to use shower as has a condition where mould is a danger. Can I suggest a professional steam clean and grout redone if necessary. Then use an anti mould product every clean. We have come across this problem in cottage in Cornwall which is also a windowless shower room and this is what they have done.

Breakfast and kitchen facilities good. Coffee was a bonus!

The shower less good and the wet room was definitely wet.

It was a nice and thoughtful touch to have freshly baked bread, butter, fresh milk and home made jam and marmalade provided. Our hosts were both friendly and helpful.
