Castle Harbour Melanie's Apartment

The location is easy to access the centre of Los Cristianos. There is a small and big supermarket which is 5 mins walk. The apartment was immaculately clean upon arrival. The open plan kitchen has very good ventilation and is refreshing and cool, even on the hottest days we were there. The apartment is a good size and comfortable for 3 people. During our stay it was quiet and peaceful with the minor exception of some noise by passing traffic.

The was no kettle which make drinking hot drinks difficult. However, There were pans we placed on the stove to boil water instead. The biggest bedroom can be very hot during the night even though it is not sun-facing. However, The apartment does provide a fan, but oftentimes it felt to not be enough.

The food in the on site restaurant.EL Paso. Reasonably priced ,tasted amazing . Cleanliness Pool Area , everywhere within the building My Flat ,very nice ,bed was super comfy . Great view of lights at night . Very bright and airy . Hair Dryer supplied The fact you can fill any size water bottle at the pool for a few Euros ,saved carrying water from shops to the complex . Vending machines 24 hour Supermarket ,just down the hill. Lots of pubs and restaurants in the local. Public transport / buses / taxis 2 Euros for a sun bed ,think was great didn't use it everyday.Only paid when wanted one , no fighting for beds or towels on beds unused.Once you paid that was your bed all day. Internet was good and reasonable ,7.50 for 7 days for one person think it was 12 for 2 people sharing . Small shower room in basement ,free of charge ,if needed for late flights , so could shower before leaving. Locked storage area for suitcases , after checkout.Till you were ready to leave . All in all great experience ,all the staff were nice , one or two ,where a little abrupt, avoided them tipped the friendly ones. washing machine and a metal clothes dryer , first time never had to do a full wash when I went home .Everything was dry for next day. My apartment was lovley,had been modernised. Privately owned ,so no one disturbing you to clean ,or change beds.

Microwave grill ,make toast but prefer a toaster, was worried set it on fire lol The hill outside is not as steep ,as some reviews stated. Taxi rank at the bottom ,only few euros to get taken to Apartments. I never had to use them , as enjoy 🚶‍♀️ walking.On really hot day ,even I had to take my time.

The reception staff were so friendly and accommodating. The pool bar is excellent value with wonderful service from the bar staff, the pool man was friendly and not a jobs worth. All in all an excellent stay. The apartment was clean and spacious with a huge balcony. The pool is wonderful too, lovely and warm with a safe area for kids.

All good apart from ‘Cardiac Hill’ but we hired scooters to get to the top where the complex is situated.

The size of the apartment we were Five adults and our stay was comfortable. The location of the apartment was also very good

Lovely clean apartment in a nice location. Man on reception with glasses very friendly and helpful. Great price would definitely stay again!!

The location was great plenty of restaurants within walking good restaurant on complex good food and prices

The property was totally inadequate, for three people, One bedroom with only three coat hangers, The kitchen was totally inadequate, no cups and saucers, one saucepan , washing Machine leaking. We had to mop up every day reported to the Agent on site. They came looked at it and nothing was done. No oven small microwave with no instructions, Mix and match of towels, The second bedroom no chair, no wardrobe , could only get in sideways to the bed, my sister, 86 years of age. It was very very difficult.. I would like to say that if I could’ve got a refund at the time I would’ve gone somewhere else. Totally unacceptable. .

The property had not long been refurbished. Bathroom door with no lock. I’ll be honest this property, the way it is at the moment it is not acceptable.

Partial refund due to horrendous bathroom/toilet facilities in apartment, very bad smell of sewage throughout the stay, this was logged with reception who telephoned the cleaning team for apartment who visited but issue wasn’t resolved had to use toilet Facilities in the basement when we was on the fourth floor
