The apartment was okay, with a great location – just a few steps from the sea, close to various entertainment spots and restaurants. The nearest large grocery store (Carrefour) is about a 15-minute walk. The balcony had a fantastic view of the sea and the pool. The apartment was spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. A downside is the lack of air conditioning, but luckily the weather was around 25°C, so it was quite manageable. The bedrooms had blinds, which helped a lot, but there were no blinds in the living room – it could be useful to install some there if there’s no air conditioning.

The listing on booking mentioned that a hairdryer would be provided, but there wasn’t one. This was a major inconvenience for us, as it’s a basic bathroom item, so we had to buy our own. The apartment’s cleanliness could have been better – the frying pan was greasy, probably left by previous guests. Regarding key collection, it was in a different town (Pineda del Mar). We did not receive any prior information about when we could pick up the keys, despite messaging through Booking and trying the phone number listed there. This was particularly inconvenient for us because we didn’t have a car. We only managed to contact them after finding another number on the official company website. We then learned that key collection is only possible between 10:00–13:00 and 16:00–19:00, which was not mentioned anywhere on Booking. The wardrobes had a very unpleasant smell, so we had to keep our belongings in our suitcases.

The location has advantages, the apartment is in front of the beach, has a beautiful view, but it's also quite noisy. Nice swimming pool which was a good alternative when the sea was too wavy. Fully equipped kitchen. Good WiFi. Comfortable mattress.

Be aware that to collect the key you need to go to the agency located in Pineda del mar - next town. I have been traveling to Malgrat since more than 10 years so I know it quite well and I knew where the apartment is so we have no issues to find it but in other case, if someone is traveling for the first time this might be problematic, a person in the agency just give as a the keys and paper with address and was saying something but in french ( not Spanish, not English but French :-) As mentioned before the location has advantages but also disadvantages, it's not easy to sleep there. From the bedroom you hear noise from the next hotel and amusement park...from the living room - noise from people on the street. Apartment doesn't have air-conditioning so it's impossible to keep the windows and balcony closed. Before the arrival there were also some problems as they require full payment in advance and the link for online payment sent to us via booking doesn't work , we had to do bank transfer, I was a bit stressed because of that.
