Beautiful Upper Apartment/Stunning Sea Views, Isle of Bute

Comfortable, well-equipped, inexpensively furnished but tasteful. Wonderful views over the bay from all rooms.

Well appointed apartment with picture perfect views from every window. Ideal quiet location. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped, with everything you need and more. You don't need to bring anything, and even coffee and tea was there. tea towels and towels provided

Nothing, you can't fault anything. The only downside is it's on the second floor, no lifts, so be aware if you can't handle carrying bags up 4 flights of stairs, but the description did say second floor apartment.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was clean, very comfortable and cosy. Clear instructions and lots of information about the area were provided in a folder. The location and views are amazing. The price was great too, we would come back any time.

Nothing not to like

We loved the beautiful, cosy apartment and the views were stunning. Pamela and Deryck communicated promptly and the check in process instructions and house manual made everything clear. The apartment is renovated to a high standard, warm, very tastefully decorated, comfortable and has everything you need for your stay, including full working kitchen, hot water, a huge bath and large Smart TV with Netflix /Prime/Disney etc. There was coffee and tea, biscuits, muesli and porridge we could use and our hosts had left us a nice bottle of wine too. We will definitely return to this apartment as we love visiting Bute.

There was nothing we didn't like

The views from the windows out front to the sea loch were, as in the title, a delightful highlight. The rooms were bright and colourful as reflected in the pictures. The bed and sofa was comfortable, and the kitchen facilities were all we needed for a two night stay to make drinks, supper and breakfasts. The glass window squares in the bathroom were a good design feature to give light to an internal bathroom. We appreciated the record turn table for a bit of fun.

The first impression of the entrance from the outside doesn’t give great street appeal and it was a bit of a hike with cases up two floors of stairs.

Apartment had lovely views out to the sea. Inside everything was clean and there was everything we needed during our stay.

Communal stair could smell a little stale but as it is shared this is understandable. (Nothing to do with the rental but it does impact those who stay: local restaurants {Caledonia Bistro & Rockabilly Diner} said they were open on their websites and / or on the opening times displayed in their windows but then did not open. They also did not return phone messages or email request for booking.)
