Beach Front Apt Portballintrae , Bushmills close to Royal Portrush Golf Club

Location but it wasn’t worth the poor condition.

Stale, musty, dusty and cold. Shower not acceptable. Wouldn’t recommend.

Perfect central location in Portballintrae overlooking beach with excellent panoramic views from the living room veranda style windows. Modern spacious interior with comfortable living/dining area. 2 good bedrooms and clean linen and towels.

No power shower..only a bath with a hand shower so no immediate hot water. We did not use the heating system as it was a warm summers day (there was a switch to turn on the heating) so that meant we had no hot water in the bathroom or kitchen. I used the kettle for hot water to wash the dishes. Obviously I could have turned on the heating but chose not to do do. The lock box with the keys for the apartment was tricky to open even with the passcode . It took us a while to get it open. A small compost bin with compostible bags would be useful in the kitchen to enable correct recycling.

The apartment was grubby ... beds not made properly, mirrors not cleaned, kitchen cupboard doors dirty, crisps down between the corner sofa, tables in sitting room sticky!! I'm a cleaner myself and was very disappointed to find it in this condition.

Great views! Lovely hosts. Lots of attention to detail- games,books,dvds. The apartment is very spacious too & good location. Great hotel next door and benches outside to enjoy the view.

Location excellent. Comfortable and clean.

Would have been helpful to have the lock box numbered as several outside the apartment block.
