If you have ever seen a romantic movie about Tuscany with views from heaven, an unbeatable "home away form home" feeling and wonderful hosts, it becomes reality in San Gimignanello. We were there end of October and Tuscany was bathed in the colours of Indian summer. If you opened your window you could only see colours and enjoy the calm of a remote countryside holiday home. The love which is put into the rental appartment reflects the owner's efforts to make their clients' stay unforgettable. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is well mantained (even the water pressure in the shower was perfect and hot water came quickly), the kitchen is nicely equipped and you can park your car in front of the stone house where the appartment(s) are situated. Even the breakfast is provided in a wonderful way: a full fridge and everything else you want for your breakfast as long as you stay. You get ham, cheese, eggs, joghurt, jam, cereals and even a perfect cake once a week - so you can follow your own gusto - so much better than usual breakfasts which force you to adapt to a certain time or food offer. Due to our dense sightseeing program (Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano within an hour's reach) we met the owners only for short conversations but I can cornfirm what so many visitors have already mentioned: they are very caring and sympathetic. All in all a wonderful stay! In a wonderful house! In the middle of a wonderful landscape!

1. This agriturismo is located in a truly beautiful spot with stunning views. Our family wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy this scenery. 2. We enjoyed a comfortable breakfast with the fully stocked fridge prepared by our host, and the homemade fig pie they made as a welcome treat was absolutely delicious. 3. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, and we could really feel how well the host couple took care of this large house.

Struttura incantevole immersa nella campagna toscana. La vista che si gode dalla camera è favolosa. I proprieari sono gentili e premurosi, non ci hanno fatto mancare veramente nulla! Al nostro arrivo il frigo della camera era già pieno di prodotti locali di qualità e, nelle ore successive, ci hanno fatt avere dei biscotti fatti in casa da utilizzare per la colazione, che si svolge rigorosamente in camera o nel giardino. Bellissima anche la piscina, pulitissima e, ovviamente, ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti. Regna la tranquillità più assoluta, l'ideale se volete staccare dai ritmi frenetici della città. Ci torneremo sicuramente e lo abbiamo gia consigliato ad amici e conoscenti

A wonderful, peaceful place to stay in a truly magical area. Valeria and Renato provided everything we could possibly need, even giving us vegetables from their garden. We loved the pool and admiring the scenery. It was easy to explore the area by car and visit the most beautiful little towns. We hope to return sometime!

Abbiamo avuto l’onore di conoscere Valeria e Renato, proprietari di questo bellissimo agriturismo immerso nella natura e nel verde. L’appartamento era suddiviso in tre piani molto spaziosi e super accoglienti (sono rimasta incantata dalla varietà di libri che c’erano nelle librerie). La colazione è inclusa quindi al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato il frigo pieno di salumi e formaggi, frutta fresca a volontà, marmellate, latte, uova, yogurt! Praticamente tutto il necessario, non potevamo chiedere di meglio. Per non parlare dei meravigliosi biscotti che Valeria ci ha fatto apposta per noi. L’appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario, lavastoviglie, frigo e tutto il resto (anche l’olio di loro produzione). Ci hanno dato in dotazione anche i teli per la piscina (il che non è una cosa scontata), e all’esterno dell’appartamento c’è uno spazio privato con tavolino e sedie dove rilassassi, leggere e fare anche colazione. Siamo rimasti davvero estasiati da questo posto bellissimo e sopratutto la pace che c’era tutt’intorno. Sicuramente sarà un luogo dove ritorneremo volentieri. Ristoranti, supermercati e tutto il necessario distano davvero poco dal posto quindi si ha la comodità di tutto.

Assolutamente nulla, devo ammettere che qui siamo stati proprio bene. Lo consiglio vivamente se cercate un posto tranquillo in mezzo alla natura.

The hosts were excellent and the breakfast food provided was amazing! We will be staying again in the next year or so! The location is gorgeous and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

I would recommend air conditioning for the downstairs as it can get very warm in the summer.
