Etxaide - Basque Stay

Location was good, spacious apartment.

The bathroom was very small and difficult to access. No towel hooks…. For the price, would expect some basic provision - dish towels, sponge/scourer, dishwasher tablet(s) etc.

The location was excellent, large bedrooms and good size living area

Needed some more comfort and accessories, lounge was a two seater with a small round coffee table which doesn’t work for two people trying to use it, could have had another fan for the living area not just bedrooms, a tea towel and plastic storage containers would be handy. Great position just needed some extras.

Nothing, all was perfect

A spacious, modern and comfortable apartment, quiet, but very central and with an easy walking distance to the old city and the restaurants. 4 blocks away from the well stocked supermarket and fresh food market.

The pickup of the keys well away from the actual apartment. It was also not possible to arrange for the transfer from the airport to the apartment to go via the pickup place! This was through the Booking.com portal. The communication with the organisers was a bit harsh. A lot of tourists use WhatsApp to communicate with the hosts and the given phone number was registered with WhatsApp, but they just didn't want to communicate through WhatsApp.

This is a spacious flat on the first floor, bright clean and tidy. It has an excellent location between the 2 main beaches in Donastia/San Sebastian. It is equipped with all the appliances you need for a short stay.
