Absurd hospitality!! I cannot explain how amazing this experience was!! we were provided with a lift to the apartment (amazing) breakfast everyday which is basically also your packed lunch for the day (amazing) and humour and warmth from our host. (amazing) The apartment was a small piece of history ! (amazing) we loved it!!! the new Astybus service on the island makes getting around really simple without a car. we adored walking to the castle and exploring it everyday.

If you have any mobility issues the Astypalea Chora is steep and there are many steps. It’s also windy on the top!

"Popi's is 11 out of 10!"

We had a wonderful stay at Popi´s in our own house near the castle. Fully equipped, lovely view from the balcony, plenty of room and the greatest breakfast ever which was delivered by Popi every morning.

The stairs to the lower floor was a killer but if you took it easy, it was absolutely no problem.
