The suite is absolutely beautiful! Well equipped! It instantly felt like home!

Only small inconvenient is that it is a good 20-30 minutes from the city and there is only ne restaurant nearby and it closes early. We ended up driving to Angra do Heroismo every night for dinner.

The only thing i liked was ,,, The Ocean View & Sunsets!

So when we arrived on 25th,. Our room wasn't ready. We were so shocked when we walked in. It was a disaster. Stuff everywhere, messy bed and washroom, dirty towels, sink full of dishes. Etc. Apparently, the owner misunderstood our check-in time?! Which she tried to blame me or booking.com for the confusion. .... Our Booking was always for the 25th. On my Booking.com, Check in time said 3, and I had requested if 1 was possible, and she said yes. We arrived at 1, and we pretty much lost the whole day because she had to get ahold of the ladies to clean the room and finally checked in at 5! Until this day, she hasn't apologized. The place is cute, but We were so bothered by the whole situation and felt so disappointed the whole week, It actually ruined our stay. I had asked her to send a bottle of wine and we'll forget about what happened, which was well deserved! But She never sent it. 😔 We've always requested early check-ins and never had a problem anywhere else. Our next Destination in Biscoitos was for 5, we requested 3 and had no problems with time!

It was quite moldy in the apartment and there was a unpleasent smell coming from the bathroom.

Very elegant, comfortable property. We stayed in the unit for 4 people and there was a bedroom area with 4 comfortable single beds, a well equipped kitchen area with hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine and all crockery and kitchen utensils, plus separate bathroom. It is in a quiet residential / rural road which is a 10 minute walk to the centre of town where there is a small supermarket and friendly restaurant with good food. The other direction is a 15 min walk to a viewpoint and picnic area overlooking the sea (no swimming). But it’s also easy with a car to get everywhere else in the island. Helpful host with very clear instructions.

Breakfast not included, but there are cafes up the block. It is a steep climb to get to the main road. All the rooms are decorated differently. Unique property with good tasteful design. Kitchen is cute and has everything. Toaster, microwave, refrigerator, mini electric stove, water kettle, espresso machine, salt/oil/vinegar. There is a washing machine and dryer. I only used the washing machine and hung dry my clothing. Sitting area outside if you want to hang out. My room had an A/C unit. There was bar stools and a counter by the window. Really loving the decor. From the ceiling to all the wooden furniture.

Washing machine needs service. Did not drain the water for my clothes. Also need a cloths line somewhere. I made due with some rope. There once was some detergent but they ran out.

Clean, cosy, homelike. Very helpful and responsive host in case of any queries.

If you take the ground floor apartment of the two floor house, you might find your neighbors noisy because of the wooden construct. Not a deal breaker at all.

Decorum was nice and stylish.

Basically no windows in the appartment.
