Market Place Flats

Had everything you'd need in a self catering flat, they really have thought of everything! It's in a perfect location right in town with plenty of free & cheap parking. The beds are comfortable & the whole flat has a lovely homely feeling. We would definitely stay here again!

Only one small thing which really can't be changed as it is an old building and that is the squeaky floorboards from the flat above can be a little frustrating when trying to get to sleep.

Lovely, clean flat right in the centre of Barnard Castle. Perfect for exploring.

Although the flat was amazing, it was quite cold and heating controlled by owners via an app. Had to contact owners twice as very cold and they remotely controlled thermostat. Certainly wouldn't be an issue in summer,but in the middle of winter could maybe leave controls to the occupants. However, they were almost instant in reply to increase the thermostat, which after a little while, sorted the issue.

Lovely apartment, clean and tidy. Ideally situated in the heart of Barnard Castle. Added bonus was the milk, bread, cereal and biscuits on arrival.

Nothing to dislike.
