Lovely apartment, great location with a beautiful sea view, clean and modern

The AC was on a 1 hour time saving operative in the living room which was understandable. The AC in the bedroom was set up the same which not ideal when sleeping but not working as the owner had it on an APP which was not activated We requested that it be activated, the agent came to the apartment and explained why it wasn't working and got the owner to turn on and it worked while she was there. Later that evening when we returned to the apartment it wasn't working again, disabled ... unfortunately the bedroom window opened onto main outdoor hallway, very noisy and no privacy if window open so very hot. Requested AC from host again but didn't work for duration of our 6 day stay. Very disappointing as no ventilation and uncomfortable without it.

The rooms were spacious, kitchen well stocked with cutlery & cups etc. Great view of the beach. The pool was also good for a dip on hot days. There is a hairdryer, no shower gels or shampoo but it is self catering after all. Lovely beds & good quality bedding. A good amount of lovely soft towels. Karen was always available & is very friendly & approachable. Thanks Karen!

No air-conditioning & fans were supplied but was very noisy at night. Maybe replace it with less noisy fans? The road can get busy with traffic noise early morning. There are a few rough sleepers close by.

The flat faces Kite Beach and has a large terrace with stunning views of Table Mountain. Every evening brings incredible sunsets, and for kitesurfers, it doesn’t get more convenient — just grab your gear, cross the road, and you’re on the water. The dedicated, secure garage parking is a big plus, and the area is very safe. There are also great cafés and bars just a 5-minute walk away. A special mention to Karen, the property manager. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly helpful — giving clear airport directions and making sure I felt welcome straight away. She even let the friendly neighbouring couple know I was staying on my own, and they came over to introduce themselves. It was such a thoughtful touch, and I honestly couldn’t have felt more welcome. I enjoyed my stay so much that I actually came back for the final part of my trip. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for an unbeatable beachfront location, whether you’re into kitesurfing or simply want to enjoy some of the best sunsets in Blouberg.

It was a home away from home. Clean and comfortable. Our host, Karen was amazing. The location and views were spectacular.
