Great location, lovely ambience and very comfortable

There was a party at the pub opposite on Sat which was a bit loud, other than that our stay was a perfect getaway. Parking was mentioned pre-booking as a potential issue but we planned around that so it was good to be forewarned especially as a bank holiday

Property was centrally located, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Shower was good, and dishwasher was a bonus.

The building is listed which means no double glazing. As a result, the noise from the pub opposite was very loud in the front bedroom - to the point of being able to participate in the pub quiz as we could hear the questions perfectly 😂. If you’re travelling with family, put children/early sleepers in the back room. Also, no table to sit and eat, only a breakfast bar (stools were very cool though). Not an issue if eating out - a lot of fabulous eateries within 2min walk - but awkward for breakfast with smaller children or those uncomfortable on bar stools. Parking is free on street & cars need to be moved by 0900, but beware of Thursday market when parking is at a premium, even in pay & display.

A firmer bed

Lovely apartment in a prime spot on Kirkby Lonsdale high street - easy access to shops, pubs and places to eat. Immaculately clean and well decorated throughout. Good communication from the owner.

It was hard to find parking nearby (other than short stay spaces) and there was some noise from the pub opposite on Saturday night. Not the property’s fault but worth bearing in mind if you’re a light sleeper or bringing children with you.
