Matterhorn Studio Cervinia

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Cervinia! The location was perfect with stunning mountain views, and just a 5-minute walk from the ski lifts. The apartment had everything we needed and more. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating; they even let us use the shower after we had already checked out, without charging extra. It was such a comfortable and pleasant experience overall. Highly recommend!

Extremely small, run-down studio in need of renovation and with no storage space. There is very little furniture in the apartment: scratched, half-ruined, of the cheapest IKEA type. Only one closet, of which half is locked to store bed linen, and the other half is full of covers and pillows. There was no place to put our clothes, and we had to keep them in our suitcase. There was hardly space to put our suitcase: once the sofa is opened, there is no space to pass. The two separate beds come down from the wall: I cannot imagine how 4 people can fit in the apartment. The pictures in the booking ad belong to two different studios and are misleading, as we got what seems to be the smaller, less nice place. The bed linens are very old and unpleasant, should have been replaced a long time ago. The sofa bed is small and uncomfortable. There are multiple stains on all walls. No coffee in the apartment. There is a coffee machine full of old, used capsules. When we asked the owner, he said we had to bring our own capsules. Finally, certain guest services are outsourced to guests. We arrived late, and the beds were not made…When we asked, we were told that we had to make the beds ourselves and that this service was not provided. No trash bags in the trash cans either: you have to put the bags yourself. Overall, this is a hostel-type, budget accommodation. In need of investment, renovation and better service before it can credibly pass as a comfortable, pleasant skiing retreat.

The location is a big plus.

Investments from the owners side are highly recommended.

The studio was very convenient for a small group .It is a walking distance from the ski lift and the centre of Cervinia. Friendly and very helpful host .

The kitchen had a lot of utensils, but small mainly for breakfast and pasta cooking
