Seaside Sundae Suite

It was decorated really well , quite quirky and location was great

The apartment it self wasn't clean. It was such a shame as the apartment was lovely and really nicely decorated. However, the place its self wasn't clean . It seemed like no were had been vacced , there was dog hairs all over the sofa , used soap left on the side of the sink and thick dust on tables/ side units.

The decor was pleasant in the living room. The sundae theme quite quirky.

The strong smell of stale smoke permeating the whole apartment was so offputting, it hit us both as soon as we opened the door and quite honestly marred the whole opinion of the properrty. The reviews said it was clean but there was thick dust and dirt on the skirting boards in the bedroom and the discoloured grouting between the bath tiles a bit gross.

Comfortable and close to beach huts.

Nice and comfortable, great location. Generally ticks the basic boxes but it'd be easy for it to go from fine to great if they made a bit more effort. Communication and booking was nice and easy, easy to get keys from lock box. Usually had space right outside to park on the street.

No basics - no toilet paper, hand soap, bin bags, limited towels. Generally clean but not deep clean - some cobwebs and dusty skirting boards etc. Flaking wallpaper on the ceiling, sections of damp. Dishwasher had a terrible smell like it hadn't been used for a long time, so we had to avoid it. There were towels and sheets strewn all over the landing and blocking the front door to the flat when we first arrived - we had to bundle them up and leave them on the stairs where they stayed for another day. No additional locks on inside of the flat, so if someone had the keys they could just come in.

The suite was very spacious, the location of the suite was fantastic, close to amenities and restaurants, the area was very quiet and pleasant, and the apartment was kept in fantastic condition!

The Hob didn't work and the setee bed was fairly uncomfortable, other than that, no complaints

The location

Everything about the place. Was damp, no tea or coffee for when we arrived, Cobwebs and dust everywhere and back garden was an absolute disgrace

Great location for the local shops.

The bin in the bathroom and in the kitchen had not been emptied prior to our stay. The sofas were not comfortable and relaxing. The clock in the lounge / kitchen area was not working. The sink in the bathroom didn’t empty of water quickly and the overall decorating needs to be freshened up.

Great location. Very spacious for a family of 5 (including a baby) Nice and clean. Plenty of on street parking. Fresh linen and towels. Great selection of toys and books for the children. Nice kitchen area.

It was very cold and the radiator in the middle bedroom didn't work. Luckily there was an electric one we could use but my children were very cold in the morning when they got up. The carpet is coming up in the middle bedroom and we often couldn't open the door as the carpet was jammed in it. This was also a hazard for the children. Very old building and could do with some work but very clean all the same. The curtains in the main bedroom also fell down in the morning when my partner opened them. No complimentary tea or coffee which we were very surprised at as every other apartment we have stayed at in lytham has provided it (we have been going for the past 4 years). This meant we didn't bother packing any so we couldn't have a tea or coffee in the morning.
