Okay, listen! The house is at the end of a road, that turns into this mountain road with the turn, right next to the shore. There are cliffs around you. There is a parking lot with trees around. Its not busy at all, calm as everything else around this place. But then....but then!!! Are you listening?! But then there is a very small food truck at the end of this parking lot. The guy works, i don't know sometime around 4pm till midnight. He has the best freakin' hotdog that you can every try. You will cry! You wont need anything else in life, just this spot. Super cool balcony view with the palm trees, the ocean and the cliffs. It is actually situated at the southern side of the island and at the middle of it, so nothing is really far from it, you can get to any point of interest from here within a reasonable amount of time. If you go here, try to hot dog!

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for a week in Nov, and it was absolutely perfect. It’s located in a lovely, peaceful town or village (we’re still not sure which), and contrary to some reviews about noise from the street, we found it very quiet. There’s a main road in front of the building, but during our stay, there weren’t many cars passing by. Even with the occasional vehicle, we only heard it if the windows and doors were open, but we kept them closed at night due to the cooler weather and some windy evenings. The apartment itself is huge and beautifully arranged. The main bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was spacious and extremely well-equipped, with everything you could need, including essentials like salt, oil, and pepper—something not all places provide. The highlight of the apartment was undoubtedly the balcony, which was absolutely stunning. Watching magical sunsets and having dinner outside in Nov was more than we could have hoped for. The name of the apartment truly reflects this wonderful feature. Parking was also very convenient, with a large car park right across the building. The only minor downside was that we were provided with just one bin bag, one dishwasher tablet, and one washing machine tablet for the entire week, so we had to purchase extras ourselves. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We were by the sea but hadn't reckoned on the crazy Madeirans racing up the road at high speed. Motorbikes were the worst. The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious. A/C was appreciated. Good restaurants in Madalena do Mar.

There was a lack of mirrors, so it was awkward to blow dry your hair.

I've been travelling and renting short stay accommodations a lot, but this one was the best in my experience so far! Everything was perfect, the location right in front of the ocean, the beach nearby, free parking. The apartment is very spacious, clean and modern. There is a terrace where you could enjoy your dinner watching a sunset. Fabulous!

It was a great stay. We really enjoyed the stay there and I would highly recommend going there :)

The only thing was that it was a bit louder in the room. I guess the windows are not that isolated but that is a very tiny thing.

Great clean modern apartment with beautiful sunsets on the patio. Big parking lot across the street which always had spots available to park when we were there. Marisela was there to greet us upon arrival after our flight was delayed and was quick to answer any questions we had and give us tips about the area. It was walking distance to 3 or 4 good restaurants and the food truck in the parking lot had great burgers and hot dogs. It was great to have a good washing machine to catch up on some laundry and the kitchen was bright and spacious. We would definitely stay there again.

The shower was slow to drain while we were there but as soon as we told Marisela, she had a plumber in to fix it that same day. Superb customer service!!! 😀

We stayed in the apartment on the first floor (that would be the second floor for the US folks) and the views were extraordinary. I suspect the ground floor would be less so, but our apartment was great in that regard, making us spend the majority of our evening time on the balcony just watching and listening to the ocean waves. Also in the apartment itself, everything was clean and worked as expected. The kitchen was well equipped, including with a dishwasher and a washing machine. There were two small issues that we observed and mentioned it to the host more for tracking than as an actual issue but to our surprise the host fixed them within 2 hours. Amazing good and friendly service. Another nice advantage of the apartment is the location: if you want the hustle and bustle of a big town, this is not it. But if you prefer a quiet place with, easy access to the ocean, a few nice restaurants and (by car) easy access to the entire West of the island, than this is a good place.

The apartment is on the main local street and you can hear the traffic. Luckily the traffic is very light in general and completely does down after 9pm-10pm so sleeping was not an issue.
