Seafront Apartment with Garden

A well situated apartment right on the sea front. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable. All amenities a short bus ride away. Spacious and welcoming the perfect place to stay for a short break in Brighton. A very helpful and understanding host who's communication was prompt and efficient. We highly recommend this property .

There was nothing we didn't like

4th time I've stayed here. A fantastic apartment. My only complaint is that because it's a basement flat there's not phone single inside. However the wifi is great for internet.

Very clean, and with 99% of things you would need for a comfortable stay!

There was no freezer that we could find, which if you are eating out is no issue but we just wanted to have ice for drinks. A very minor thing but some people may be bothered by this! A full cocktail making set (we were impressed by this) but no facility for ice for them!

A lovely very homely apartment

A very spacious living area with lots of seating, kitchen was big with a dining area. The bedroom was a decent size as was the en suite. The place has a separate toilet too. Heating worked well and there were enough cooking facilities. Getting/ returning the keys was no issue.

Before booking, I read that the bedroom curtains let too much light in for the evening which I queried. I was assured that it had been remedied but this was not the case upon my stay. We did not sleep well enough due to this. The bathroom window also could do with netting for privacy. Some of the kitchen facilities need some attention as both kettles were quite dirty and full of limescale. The oven also needs a proper lighter, not a cigarette lighter as it can be burn hazard. TV had enough channels but was fidley to use-instructions would be good. Finally, I feel that the property could do with double glazing as we found that a lot of heat was lost and this could help save the owner on his bills by being better insulated.

Location was great, amazing living/kitchen space, great to have a little outside area.

A very comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished and decorated basement apartment with all the facilities you could want for a weekend or week's stay. A cozy lounge area, well equipped kitchen diner, comfortable double bedroom and clean bathroom with an easy-to-use bath/shower. Situated in Kemptown around 25 minutes walk from the centre of Brighton, or a few minutes on the frequent bus services with a stop very close on Marine Drive. Long term parking is limited nearby, but we parked at Asda's car park by the marina using JustPark. Around 15 mins walk away or a short bus ride - paid £25 for two days. Great communication with the owner, no problems at all.
