Imperial Douro Apartamento 1

Great flat with nice appliances and air conditioning, really good area and easy access from the train station.

Only one thing, the bed in the second bedroom was an extremely firm mattress, it didn't feel quality either. The other mattress was nice.

The apartment was easy to find and great instruction was provided at arrival. The apartment was clean and had all that you require for a few days. The location was perfect. In the heart of everything.

The bathroom required a hanger for towels. As there is no window in the bathroom, it does get a little misty.

Central location. Everything fine. Nice terrace.

No small pot.

The check in was extremely easy. Just get the keys from a lockbox, can't get better than that. The master suite has direct access to a terrace, at the moment a little too cold to enjoy but during the summer it would be awesome. The apartment is big, comfortable and roomie, the bathroom layout is perfect for a group like ours where there is a main vanity area and two smaller rooms (one for the toilette and one for the shower). Somebody cleans the entrance on a regular basis. We requested more coffee pods and they were dropped off soon after. All brand new top of the shelf windows that open in different directions and make the apartment very well isolated from the cold plus three split units and the location was amazing.

The power went out the first day, there should be some sort of warning because we foreigners are not familiar enough with the infrastructure (too many electric things being used simultaneously). The last day the internet networks were off. Besides for that everything was perfect.

Excellent appartment. Bathroom not quite up to the standard of the rest of the place.

Great location, the apartment was very spacious, clean, and convenient. It even had a high chair for our baby. The crib was also great. The kitchen was well equipped and convenient. The rooms were well lit and the window blinds were effective. The check in process was easy and quick.

There was a very strong smell of cleaning, like fabric softener, but it was too harsh. We aired the apartment for hours and it still didn't disappear. There were stairs at the entrance but it didn't bother us. The shower was pretty small.
