Great location overlooking the River and in center of town so it is easy to walk everywhere. Host was very responsive and pleasant. She even left a bag of delicious tangerines, which we made fresh squeezed juice.

During our stay, there was a strong smell coming from the washing machine and dishwasher. It smelled like sewage leak. We had to open the windows to circulate the air.

You simply cannot find a better location & view! The owners were so kind and thoughtful. We were there over the holidays and they decorated the apartment for us including a small Christmas tree! When we were worried about rising water from the river, the owner came down to check for himself, and confer with us about if we should repark the car. (The apartment building itself is high enough to not be a concern) There are good restaurants within 100 meters. Small shops not much further, and a large supermarket in walking distance for most people. The beautiful riverside walking path is just below the apartment. The kitchen is well furnished for a rental. The beds were comfortable. The balcony furniture was very comfortable and even in December we were able to just sit outside and enjoy the view multiple times during our stay. (It rains a lot in December. Be prepared.) The view out the front of the apartment is charming too. The nearby church bells are lovely to track your day with, and stop at 10pm, so they won't keep you awake all night. Note: if you have mobility issues with slopes, this particular street is fairly flat and easy to walk along, unlike much of the town. There's a separate heater/air-conditioner for each bedroom, as well as the main room.

The walls are a little thin so we could hear our travel mates talking somewhat even with the doors closed. The church bells start at 7:30am, a little early if you want to sleep in. There needs to be one more chair in the living room area for four people to sit around comfortably. The alley leading to the parking lot is very narrow. It's hard to get a large car in and out. There's a free public lot about a block away, but I suspect it gets full in the summer.
