"Best B&B we have ever stayed in!"

Birchwood House is exceptional value for money. Very clean and comfortable in a good location for the town’s facilities. Continental style breakfast choice was amazing! Host Suzanne was lovely, and informative about the area. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Friendliness of the host, delicious continental breakfast, comfortable bed, thoughtful extra touches ( eg extension lead for hairdryer, spare toiletries in case you forgot anything, cake left each day).

The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated. It was a good size, as was the bathroom. Host was friendly and attentive. There were lots of extra thoughtful touches, cake, chocolates, crossword puzzle book, maps for walkers - they'd thought of everything! Just a short walk from the town centre. Very convenient.

The bed was comfortable, but we would have liked a kingsize bed as my partner is quite tall and broad.
