VALLE FIORITA 42 - Lake view Studio

The studio was compact but tastefully furnished. Clever use of the space and attention to details. There was nothing we wanted or needed that wasn't provided and the hosts made themselves easily available. The air conditioning was a god's sent as some days were very hot and humid. The view from the large windows was very pleasing.There was plenty of outdoor space we could use and as the property was at the top of a T road, was vert quiet. Very appreciated was also the free parking space. A very heartfelt thank you to the hosts.

The only drawback for us was the steep road we had to walk up to reach the property. We are not very young and didn't want to use the car. However this would not put us off if we decided to return to the studio.

The studio was located about a 6 min walk from the main area of Gardone Riviera. The studio itself was small but so lovely - it had everything we need and very clean. The sofa bed was by far the most comfortable bed on our whole Italian trip! Bella was a lovely host, she dropped off the keys and walked through how to use everything in the studio and what was available - and even gave us a welcome wine! The view was lovely of the lake and staying there made us feel like locals rather than tourists. Having a parking spot was also very convenient.

The apartment block is at the top of a hill, the area itself is very up/down with hills. The walk uphill was very steep and almost unbearable in the heat - I had a personal health issue so it was really not ideal. If you are elderly or unable to cope with steep walks, this is not the place for you.
