Teixeira House

I loved the family that hosted me. So friendly and warm. The area is incredible, and the view from the balcony was worth the flight over to the Island. I will be coming back to this very spot.

The host was a friendly and nice welcome. Beautiful view. Take care of everything for our child. Good yes there is also a barbecue.

Access to the location very poor, very far from the house possible parking and then steeply down . Very small apartment, also needed a little renovation. Toaster did not work. Very small and low shower, and of course the biggest problem with hot water. We only had very hot water or ice, there was no intermediate option.

Miss Cecília is exceptionally kind, she welcomed us with bottle of wine and cake, and made us another cake during our stay. The view from the terrace is beautiful. I loved to stay there and would stay again if ever could. It has great value to the price ratio.

In our apartment, doors to the bathroom were thin and harmonica type - you should consider this if you go there as couple or more people, to feel comfortable.

The host Cecilia was so helpful and nice. When I arrived to the house there was small Madeira wine and homemade cake waiting for me. I felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, had a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony with gorgeous sea view! big plus was that I was able to check-in little bit earlier due to my bus schedule. If traveling without a car like I did, the place is easy to reach as the Rodoeste ( E.R 222) bus stop is right next to the house👍🏻 The best part was that the house wasn't too close to the Calheta tourist area (Sandy beach) where more larger hotels are located, but still had restaurants and good hiking routes nearby.😊

host was very kind. she thought of a lot of travellers needs. appt has an excellent view and a lot of space. we loved having the big area and we received a bottle of Madeira wine :)

no parking at the property. internet was not always up and running and water got cold quick. no heating in the appt.

Just Everything. Magnificent little town in valley and beautiful views. Very kind and helpful host Mrs Cecilla. 👍

I liked the host, the view and the fact that it has a washing machine.

I had bad luck with some insects, but it's nobody's fault. Insects are everywhere.
