Our stay at Claudio’s place in Castel Gandolfo was an absolute joy! The apartment is charming, comfortable, and ideally located—just steps from the heart of town yet perfectly positioned for exploring all of the picturesque villages in the Castelli Romani region. And then there’s the view… gazing out over Lake Albano is simply breathtaking, the kind of view that stops you in your tracks and lingers in your memory long after you’ve left. We loved exploring the surrounding towns and especially recommend a visit to Rocca di Papa, a gem perched high in the hills with incredible character. Claudio himself was a truly exceptional host—warm, gracious, and wonderfully responsive. From start to finish, he made everything feel seamless and welcoming, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment of our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with unforgettable views and easy access to both Rome and the charming hill towns nearby, this little slice of heaven overlooking Lake Albano is the perfect choice. We are so glad we chose to stay here and cannot recommend it highly enough!

This is the best apartment ever! Claudio is incredibly kind and has truly thought of every detail to make the stay perfect. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking, and the apartment itself is spotless and beautifully designed. It’s the kind of place that makes for an unforgettable vacation. The location is ideal - just a short walk to the historic center of Castel Gandolfo and only a quick drive to the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped. The apartment including a dishwasher and a washing machine, which made everything super convenient. Honestly, it's perfect in every way!

The bed is a bit hard But that's minor compared to the perfect apartment
