Beach Retreat

Great apartment. Very clean and exceptionally big.

The apartment was very clean. Great location, near the beach and local shops, restaurants etc.

Would have liked a pint of milk in the fridge so we could have had a brew on arrival. Not a massive problem with local shops handy.

Great location and easy parking. The apartment was nice and suitable for a small group of friends or family.Good place to stay for a couple of nights.

The bed in second bedroom wasn’t made up and looked as though someone had just vacated it. Not a great start when walking into the property. The assumption was made that we would only be using one room even though we’d booked a two bedroom apartment rather than the one bedroom. I was not happy when I rang the owner about the situation as his first response was - could I make the bed up! When I said I’d like it made up, his son did arrive quickly to do the bed- albeit leaving one pillow without a case on ( which didn’t matter as only needed two of the pillows). Fortunately, I also noticed the hot water was cold whilst the owners son was there and he fixed this straight away. The apartment was also very cold for the first day but did warm up by the second day. Bit disappointing, but on the whole a nice, clean apartment. As there are no curtains, only blinds, the outside light/s do seep through so be mindful of this if you have a problem sleeping.
