Beau Rivage Unit 9

Our family's time at Beau Rivage Unit 9 in Plettenberg Bay was truly memorable. The central location made exploring easy, with a Spar grocery store just a 5-minute walk away and the beach nearby. Within a short drive, we could reach attractions like the Knysna Elephant Park and Adventure Land. The unit itself was comfortable and well-equipped, providing a cozy retreat after our excursions. Our host was welcoming and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. One thing we wished for was more Halal food options available in the area. Overall, Beau Rivage Unit 9 offered the perfect blend of convenience and comfort for a wonderful vacation in Plettenberg Bay. Highly recommended.

One minor concern during our stay at the unit was the absence of a rail or barrier around the lagoon area. As parents with a toddler, it made us a bit uneasy, but overall, it didn't significantly affect our enjoyment of the stay.

The location is tucked away, yet walking distance from the beaches and Beacon Island Resort. The whole ambiance was lovely and quiet, perfect for sitting on the veranda relaxing or having a BBQ. The 3-bed apartment is on 2 floors and was very well equipped. The owner's agent, Toni, was there to meet us, hand over keys and take us through the property and we found the communication re our arrival excellent.

3 minor observations: (1) Perhaps a little dated with regards the carpets, (2) the ensuite lavatory was leaking, and (3) there is no handrail down the internal flight of stairs, which posed a problem for our 2 elderly family members. Otherwise this was a gem of a stay.

Asked for late checkout (11H00) but had to check out asap(10H00) because i was told that the owner is coming in so the unit need to be cleaned

Good location, near to beach and restaurants, beautiful outlook from the clean pool, well groomed gardens, friendly staff & good communication. Load shedding was covered by the useful chargeable portable lights.

One bedroom was small with limited storage , unable to access the wardrobe due to lack of space to open the door. One bathroom needs updating, shower didn’t function well. Some noise from the road and the bar opposite but didn’t affect our sleep.

Beautiful place very quiet we used the pool which was lovely close to all amenities
