Plettenberg Bay Unit J6 Goose Valley Apartment

Goose Valley golf estate is lovely. Tidy grounds, friendly staff. Good and well looked after golf course. Great value food in the clubhouse. The owner reimbursed us for 2 nights as compensation which was fair.

All criticism is of the property. Toilet seat fell off straight away. Stain on one of the single duvet covers and the shower flooded the whole bathroom. The balcony which overlooks the golf course should be wonderful but the wooden poles holding up the roof are rotting.

Big apartment with everything you need.Very clean . Gardens are beautiful.

Shower is a mess. Does not drain quickly and leaks out of the shower onto the floor puddles of water at a time. The water also goes under the floor and seems like it appears in the 2nd bedroom under the carpet.

Excellent location, clubhouse serving lovely meals

The shower had recently been renovated but the floor sloped away from the waste drain. There is no door so the water flooded into the bathroom. After every shower we had to mop the bathroom floor. Very dangerous as the floor was slippery. It is an accident waiting to happen!! Maintenance was also very poor - lights not working, locking mechanism on front and sliding door broken, toilet roll holder loose, toilet leaks water into bowl, dining room table broken, could not access safe as it was locked, access tag into Goose Valley not working, no instruction booklet for the tumble dryer (needed to dry towels used to mop bathroom floor

Comfy bed and linen. Well equipped kitchen. Nice outlook from the balcony. Fantastic golf course. Good clubhouse facilities. Nice environment to go for pleasant walks. Very safe environment.

The sofa was a bit uncomfortable. The photos of the unit showed a gas braai on the patio but it was a normal braai so we had to go buy charcoal. Some missing crockery.
