Las Gaviotas 414 by Kivoya

Close to beach. Bed was pretty comfortable. Good water pressure in showers. Was able to leave keys in condo during check out instead of stopping off property to management company office.

AC broke so we tried to sleep in 80+ degree heat for 1 night until maintenance fixed it the next day. Stove is old and plastic knobs were broken so that was a pain. BBQ on patio was old and plastic knobs were broken so we couldn’t use it. All lamps in condo had bad bulbs or were inoperable. Pots and pans were dirty. There were only 2 towels out when we got to unit. For some reason, all towels were left in the dryer so it took us a while to find them. We had to pick up keys off site which was an inconvenience also. Have front desk keep the keys or purchase a lockbox! We’ve stayed at Las Gaviotas before and will stay again, but not in 414.

Location was awesome

I did not like that it was not a keyless entry. I had to drive to a different location to get a key. Gate keepers are usually in a tan uniform and we’re not this time. Every time I drove up to the gate I had to wait for someone to come and open it. There were times I honked just to get a gate keeper’s attention. I have stayed in las Gaviotas in a different condo and I have never had any issues. The gate keeper usually remember who is staying there and are always keeping an eye out on the grounds. Different experience this time.

Front office couldn't help with any of our requests. Had to go to 3rd party. That would be an inconvenience if it's not in rental property

The location is great. Close to the beach and easy access in and out from it.

The master bedroom’s bathroom didn’t have an actual door. We had to close the door to the bedroom due to it not having a door when having to change. And it also has big mirrors to the closet so when you walk in the bedroom there was no privacy.

Dirty, Staind sheets, curtains and couches. Cheap furniture and rude staff.

The views were phenomenal! Pictures don’t do it justice. Fully functioning kitchen. The washer and dryer were a life saver. It’s nice being close to the city and beach.

The jacuzzi/hot tub not working.
