Very close to the beach and a spacious room. Air con worked perfectly and we had a small fridge. The view to the flamingoes is amazing. Staff was very helpful and kind.

There is no drinking water, so you have to buy water.

Great location - about 2 minutes walk from the main street and beach. Spacious apartment for 2 people, with good range of cooking utensils, fridge etc. Host was friendly and helpful, and responded quickly on booking.com chat. She helped us book a taxi to the early morning boat.

The shower was cold when we were there - we were very hot so enjoyed it! But might be worth checking the electric shower settings. Other than that, all great! :)

Really great location, room was clean and comfortable. Added bonus of having a kitchen and fridge.

Shop downstairs played loud music but it was always turned off around 10pm

Lovely room with aircon to enjoy after long days in the heat! Nice little living / kitchen room which was well equipped.

I think longer matches or a gas lighter would be useful for the hob.

The flamingo out of the windows. It's really nice to watch them. You can also see them from a dock outside nearby. The family owners were attentive to some of our requests. We asked to have a bidon of water in the kitchen so we would't have to go outside use the common jug every time we need some water to cook or drink (although in my opinion it should be something that is already in an apartment and we shouldn't have to ask for this). We asked if we could take a part of their big outside table to eat outside of our room since the living room was not designed to eat there, we didn't want to risk ruining their new pale color carpet eating from the couch, there is no eating table otherwise in the apartment.) The internet didn't work when we arrived but it worked during some of the hours of our stay. My instinct to go somewhere else when we checked-in which I wish I would've listen to...

I am sad to write a bad review because I'm sure this family is just getting back on their feet after covid, however there are a few crucial points to be aware of that they should take more seriously. (see 2 and 4) 1. Location: This place is located above a busy convenience store on a busy street. If you are thinking to come enjoy a romantic holiday, book somewhere else. We didn't expect a 5 stars hotel for this pricing, but this wasn't a nice location. 2. Safety : The window is accessible from the back of the roof and it's impossible to lock the window, so it would be super easy for someone to slide the windown from the outside and jump in. The safe did not work and the locked drawers lock were too cheap and the keys would curve when trying to use them so we weren't able to use them. The front door lock only locked halfway (the lock and hole space do not fit) it would be super easy to kick it and open the door, I explained to the girl at check-in how to fix this easily but she said "its very safe", and it was not fixed during the 5 days we were there. 3. Configuration of apartment. There is a counter but no stools to eat. There are some outdoor couches in the (very much smaller than what it looks like on pictures) living room with a brand new pale carpet underneith.. not ideal to eat on top of it - not much thought put into that. 4. SHOWER My wife got BADLY INJURED electrocuted on the first night when she showered which left half of her face painful since we've left this place (3 weeks now with a bad headache). The electric shower was poorly installed (50W breakers with cable a few inches from the shower) We're used to the "suicide shower" but in 10 years of living in Central America, never had experienced such a poor and dangerous setup. 5. You cook in this tiny space with a gas stove, no fans, no air extractor, & no fire extinguisher. 6. Very uncomfortable double bed, had to share the single bed. 7.
