Spacious room

The accommodation is very poorly kitted out, there is hardly anything of use in the tiny kitchenet so cooking or braaiing is not possible. No soap, hand towels, washing up liquid, sponges, nothing useful. Take away or dining out only. The decor was very generic, nothing special. I didn't even bother taking a photo. Riebeeck gets HOT in summer, the fan was broken and all we had for relief from the simmering heat was a tiny desk fan so not comfortable at all. They turned off the geyser in the evening and when we wanted to shower later there was no hot water. With so much accommodation in Riebeeck all vying for the same clients you would expect a little bit more effort from the host.

"All in all a very comfortable and peaceful stay"

The room was comfortable, spacious and neat; very good setup. Very quiet and easy accessible area. In all an enjoyable stay.

In a week no cleaning service or removal of rubbish, which is fine but please leave a dish cloth to dry dishes after being washed.
