Blue Villa

1 The kitchen gas is dangerous. There is a loss. You open the gas and it goes in all the room. 2 The bathroom is very small. It is not a bathroom, the lavatory is outside. There is space just for a shower and the toilet all stuck up. 3 The beds are 2 united together and it makes a hole at the middle. 4 There is no curtain at the window outside. All the light comes in at night. The apartment is strange, looks like a garage with some service inside. Really bad. 5 Dirty. The dishes are mostly not clean well. At night cockroaches go out, it looks very bad.

No water during stay.

Assan is a friendly bloke, and tries hard to make his guests happy. The unit I stayed in was a bit rough but functional. Overall, it was good value considering the price of most other places nearby. The location is excellent. Close to Mont Choisy beach and just across the road from another small quiet swimming beach. The street is quiet. I had a good stay.

The host picked me up from previous accommodation, was extremely accommodating, even took me to Triolet, with his personal vehicle to collect groceries. And also made good conversation about the state for of Mauritian society. Never judge a book by its cover!!

Location and helpful host

Missing a few basic utensils. Cutlery, cooking utensils, towels, bedding.

Really nice host! And close to Mon Choisy and Trouch aux Biches beaches.
