The locality in the center of Banska Bystrica was perfect. I came quite late but still easy to find, reach the owner and get keys.

Haven't found anything.

It is basically right in the city center. Maria (the person who accommodated us) was super kind and patient and gave us all the information and help we needed.

Maybe the following applies only if you have a small baby, or if you are a light sleep person. The bedroom floor and bed are super loud when you walk or you move while sleeping, we had a small 6 month old who had to sleep with us, but the bed was so noisy that it was impossible to move without waking her up. Same if you had walked in the room for any reason, the floors were super loud.

Great location, comfort, perfect spot for short break, well equipped apt., close to shops and main square.

Good location in the centre of the lovely town of Banska Bystrica. Big apartment with a comfortable bed and a nice kitchen. Everything could have been perfect, except that we landed there on a Saturday night...

Not recommended on a Saturday night. It was one of our worst night ever in an apartment due to the noise on the Street nearby. Could not sleep for more than two hours. It seemed like all the noise of the city is concentrated in this one street on the week-end and the apartment (and bedroom) is just above. There is the kebab shop underneath, that is open the whole night a playes music that is annoying and makes it impossible to sleep. Then taxis arriving back and forth in the street to bring home drunken and loud people that were having a party in the club next to the apartment or in the street. Unfortunately, the triple glazing of the apartment brings almost no reduction at all... The owner should take some measures and warn clients who come during the Week-end on Summer and give them another apartment in the courtyard.

Nice and friendly staff, good WiFi connection, rooms are clean and kitchenette well equipped. Location is good if you're interested in exploring the attractions of the Old Town as it's just around the corner. Private parking is certainly a plus (and the funny thing is once you arrive you are handed a 'map' showing you how to get there as it's a backyard basically - I guess it might be just easier to send the directions via e-mail or text message in advance though).

Twin bed (main one) is a bit noisy/ squeaky whilst shower doors need a bit of straithening. Rooms become hot during the summer so I guess most people keep the windows open at nights - yet the (Kapitulska) street leads to the main market square and delivery trucks drive through it starting early morning plus there are other noises so you may want to take your ear plugs with you ;-)

Location was great, apartman huge, it has washer/dryer... Fre parking in the yard! Everything you need for a short stay.
