Ocean View Bouganville

Lovely little complex unfortunately we are getting to old for the stairs,that's our problem.

No issues from us.

Sea view, clean and modern.

The steps outside are a little tricky.

Balcony with a Sea view. Modern inside. Good size pool and quiet complex. Good provision of towels and toilet roll etc..

Location was not near to a beach. 30min walk to beach. No UK TV channels. Sliding door did not lock. Steep access stairs. Complex was run down and needs maintenance etc.. Washing machine did not work.

property was fine the only downside was that 3 days prior to me coming to this location I was informed that the pool would be closed for 2 weeks for maintenance I didn’t see anybody doing any maintenance I think the pool has been out of action for a while

The apartment was excellent. It was nicely decorated and well equipped. The bathroom and kitchen were good and the bed was comfortable. There was a view out to sea from the balcony. It was a pleasure to come back to it each day. The walk to Caleta, the nearest resort took about half an hour but was along a newish, well-lit foot/cycle path.

Ocean View Bougainville is very dated and in need of maintenance which while we were there seemed to be a constant process. Carrying suitcases up the concrete spiral stairs to the upper floors was not easy and would present a problem to anyone with mobility issues. The main pool was temporarily closed although we were able to use the small children’s pool and the pool at a nearby hotel. The restaurant and pool bar were also closed. The area surrounding the complex had many open plots with some incomplete buildings which was not attractive. The local facilities ie bars, restaurants shops were very limited. Caleta, the nearest resort was a half hour’s walk along the coast path.

Apartment was modern and clean,comfortable too. Everything you need is in the apartment.

No restaurant or bar open in resort,closed down along time ago. The pool cannot be used has it's a green slurry. Spiral stairs to the flat needs attention from resort management.
