The apartment is okay, the listed facilities are there & functional. It's far from the worst place to stay.

The apartment was apparently ~13% more expensive than listed? The host sent us a link asking for additional payment of "tourist tax" the evening before our stay. This tax wasn't mentioned in the English description of the apartment, the host knew this but still expected us to pay and told us to contact customer support if this wasn't acceptable to us. We agreed to pay in cash because we didn't want to start changing plans last minute (we did still message customer support cause this is unusual). Next day Booking got back to us and told us that we shouldn't pay anything extra. If we had actually paid the amount host requested before customer support wrote back we would've paid for nothing and Booking wouldn't have been able to help us because it's a third party link. Then nearly a week later the host made the effort to message us and tell us that Booking actually refunded him for the payment Booking themselves told us not to make. Just strange behavior all around. Overall wouldn't want to deal with this again. The price listed isn't accurate, the additional fees still don't seem to be mentioned in the English description, you will feel pressured to pay more money the last moment or risk having your plans changed and just feel unwelcome in general. This is not what we looked forwards to after a 7 hour drive and it wasn't a pleasant stay. If this happens to you, our advice would be always contact customer support first and wait for their response. Also, the shower has weak pressure and the boiler struggles to keep the water decently hot. The bed sheets were synthetic.
