Big Studio at KAAB BY THE BEACH with roof top pool near Paseo del Carmen Mall

Location Was suoer.! Close to town, beach , ferry, collectivo., Supermarkt. The apartment was big enough for 2 people, comfortably. We liked being on 2nd floor because we didn't have to use the elevator. Bed was very comfortable, good pillows. The roof terrace with pool was very nice and most of the staff were very friendly.

The bathroom was open with glass doirs between the toilet and shower, leaving us with no real privacy. The small airport was next door... Not a real problem because we were on the road most days and there wasn't a lot of air traffic. We were there 16 days and never had the sheets changed nor new towels. Perhaps we should have asked. There were no instructions from owner about trash, pool towels, clean towels, etc. We didn't get the info about the codes before we arrived. Coming from Europe, we had no Internet connection for over 24 hrs. At the airport WLAN is very bad, so the message didn't come through. We had to borrow someone's phone to contact owner (thank goodness we had her number!) It was frustrating.

The rooms are nice and big. By far the best shower I had in Mexico.

The worst staf ever !! We came in early so we asked the guy from the reception if we could use the pool already (this because the host / manager had send me a message we could ) he did not speak English AT ALL !! For me you can't put someone at the reception who does not speak English. So he needed to use google translate. We were getting so annoyed because it took so long. He called the girl we were spoke about the phone she said sorry and he finally give us a bracelet to get up to the pool , A I'm sorry was to much to ask for . The jacuzzi does not work. When we were checking out by the same guy with the same attitude we wanted to grab a bite next door ! It even looks like the restaurant did belong to the hotel but not sure, so we asked if we could let the 2 little handbagage at the desk with all the other suitcases for like 30 min. Ofcourse he did not understand a thing but this time there was another man working there and he did speak English. He just said well you checked out already so no you can't . WORST PLACE EVER FOR US !! You will not feel welcome at all.
