Sea Salento Casa Vacanze

The location of Casa Vacanza Sea Salento perfectly matches a beach vacation. Two main beaches of Punta Prosciutto are just in  walking distance not exceeding 400-500 meters. One of them is natural reserve beach. Our apartment with a nice, spacious and shady terrace was kept tidy all the week by housekeeping maid. The kitchen is very well equipped with all necessary utensils need to prepare any type of food. Moreover there are a professional chargrill and beariful patio located at the houshold garden. Very special thanks to dear Fernando, the operator of the place. Everyday he visited us just to check how we are. Fernando was so kind to take me to the other city to buy everything I need in a supermarket. Having known that my mother is not able to walk a lot, he kindly offered us free transportation to Porto Cesareo on the last day. Fernando is genuine super host. I highly recommend his place for anyone. Sea Salento is s a rare find. Thanks to above mentioned facts, our staying was simply perfect.

The location was perfect. 5mins walking distance to the best portion of the seafront (Punta Proscuitto). This is ideal for a young family, also couples or anyone actually. The host was very friendly and helpful, even offered us a beach umbrella that he had. There is a garden in the property where he grows cherry tomatoes, which was my daughter's favorite. Car parking available, showers outside available, in case you need to take a last dip on checkout. Fernando (the host) gave us the perfect tip to the restaurant where we could enjoy seafood and wine. Well priced.

Being on the ground floor, every morcel of food invited ants (harmless though). But this was new to us. After the first day, we adapted. Rest was all ok.

the kitchen area was totally inadequate no space for preparation of food, the consequences for us having brought food to cook was that we had to go out to eat and spend additional money. There was no surfaces anywhere to put anything, no bedside table. in the morning there was no hot water to have a shower it was not even lukewarm. it stated that we were to get breakfast in our room this never materialised, which meant we had to stop on our journey to have breakfast and coffee. when we spoke to the owner he just shrugged his shoulders at us as if he didn’t care less. We raised the issue with booking.com and 72hrs later, we have not had the courtesy of a response from the owner
