Excellent large apartment, very cosy with everything one might require for a short stay.

Great location in Camara de lobos. Big spacious apartment, nicely decorated with potential to park your car in garage for an extra cost.

There is no AC and there was a bit of a strange smell in the apartment, like damp. We managed well with windows open all night but there were people in the village screaming back and forth multiple times. Would highly recommend some sort of key-box for check-in to allow guests more freedom. It was a bit complicated to decide a time to meet with the host to get the keys.

The owner was kind and helpful, she showed us her apartment and welcomed us with a few bananas from her garden, which was super nice from her. The apartment was equipped with all necessary stuff. It is well situated and from this part of the island everything is well accessible. There wasn't any deposit. The TV was newer than in the photos (we didn't use it, I just wanna say, that there may be some better equipment, than is in the pictures, which is nice).

I would prefer simpler bedding personally. The light in one room had a kind of pink colour, maybe it's adjustable, but I didn't figure it out. The parking isn't included in the price, she asked us for 5 euro per day, it would be better to at least write it in the description, it's not a big deal, but it's kind of weird, if it's unexpected. The parking space is tiny, but I fitted there Seat Ibiza easily, it depends on your skills. I prefer self check-in, but it wasn't a big problem, she was always there on time, like we agreed. All these complaints are just details, it's more like a recommendation for the next improvement.

Perfect location, nice decorations, , quiet, very clean, big apartment, and very nice owner. We loved the apartment.

We'd love to return to Madeira, and would love to stay here again - lovely property and a great base for hill walking and exploring!

The location is absolutely astonishing, Camara de Lobos is a beatiful small town, a 15 minute drive away from the capital, Funchal. The apartment is in the heart of Camara de Lobos, with multiple cafés and restaurants in its close proximity. The shore is a 5 minute walk from the accommodation.

We should've stayed longer...

The apartment is clean, and you have all that you need. But it can be updated. You have private parking but you need to pay for it.

The host asked us a warranty when we arrived, cash, without giving us any document. I think she was very stressed because she saw us with an infant. The parking place is very narrow, you really need good driving skills. I really prefer self check-in. Also, I really hate the impermeable sheets. every night me and my baby needed to change our clothes , because of the sheets we sweated a lot and we didn't sleep very well. Also the bolier for hot water is very small. After 5 minutes of shower. We couldn't have a shower all one after each other. You need to wait 20 minutes for the water to be again hot
