Talos Apartments

Die Lage war super ruhig und doch zentral, unweit vom Strand. In der Nähe hatte es einen Supermarkt und viele Restaurants. Das Apperartment war sehr sauber und modern eingerichteten. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Alles war sehr schön. Wir wollen wieder kommen.

Dachterrasse war traumhaft zum Entspannen (mit vielen wunderschönen Pflanzen) - Schatten und Sonne; Lage der Wohnung war super - mitten unter Restaurants und Cafes; alles sehr sauber und ansprechend; wir durften die Wohnung auch früher beziehen als laut Booking angegeben;

The accommodation was very clean, everything functional. We loved the fact that it had 2 desks, so we can work remotely. The Wi-Fi speeds were good enough. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. The AC was excellent ! Also, the property is in a perfect location , close to the sea and surrounded by amazing restaurants ! Free street parking permit provided by the owner.

FYI: since it is located in the center of the town, parking after 6PM was not possible on the streets right in the vicinity of the accommodation, and we had to park a bit further. These are the town rules and something to keep in mind. But nevertheless, there was enough parking space on the streets.

location to beach (less than 10 minute walk), location to grocery store (less than 5 minute walk), comfortable bed, good size kitchen, good size fridge, clean apartment, very large terrace to sit, eat and hang clothes to dry ( there is a shared washing machine outside of the room between both top floor apartments. I also liked that we had 2 sets of keys and there was a beach umbrella in the room for us to use. The noise level in our building was not too loud. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful and could be reached via whatsapp. Everything is essentially within a 5 minute walk, from restaurants to bars to cafes. Air conditioning worked well. For those taking a bus to get to San Vito Lo Capo, it is about a 8-10 minute walk to get to the apartment from the last stop in San Vito, but I think the 2nd last stop may have been slightly closer.

We had the top floor which had a slopped roof (which we could see from the picture) but we did not realize that it affected 30-40% of the room as we thought it was less than 20%. I am 6'1" so I had bend over for almost half the indoor area and I had to be very careful not to hit my head. Even my wife had problems getting into bed on that side of the room and she is only 5 feet tall. The bathroom was small and the shower was too small for me, but it did have a nice size shelf to put shampoo, shower gel etc and the hot water was very good. The TV was a problem as I think it was too old or something, as we could not watch Netflix or Amazon Video as the version of the application could not be updated to a working version and I could not use by Iphone to play on the TV for the same reason.

The apartment is so beautiful, modern, comfortable, big enough, well equipped and immaculate clean! The kitchen comes with pans, pots, crockery, everything you could need. Service was kind and receptive although our flights were delayed. 2 steps and you are at the restaurants, markets, Gelateria or beach.

The apartment looks better in real life than on the pictures, it’s quite spacious and contains everything needed to stay there for a week or longer. The location is excellent, less than 5 minute walk to the public beach and yet in more calm neighbourhood (but still strict city center).

Sometimes it was a bit loud from the outside, especially in the bedroom - fortunately there was very little traffic on the traffic and there is only cafeteria access the street.
