Brand new apartment, charming and family-friendly

This property was FANTASTIC!!! Best of the 7 various accommodations on this trip. Very well equipped throughout and particularly the kitchen so we had no trouble making the odd meal at "home". Coffee maker, toaster, teapot, gas cooktop (no oven) everything we needed. Hot water and good pressure in the showers. Plenty of plush, new towels. Beds and pillows were comfortable and sheets/bed covers were in good shape. Nice pool although we didn't get a chance to use it. There's a convenience store at the corner. The condo and neighbourhood was quiet. The bedrooms and livingroom look out to a greenspace. Dedicated parking spot within a gated area. 24/7 guard at the gatehouse. I'd definitely stay here again!

Small things that the owner might consider..... -the main shower needs a shower caddy or shelf to put shampoo, soap, scrubbies etc as there nowhere except the floor. There IS a soap, shampoo, conditioner dispenser that was well stocked but some people prefer their own supplies. The master on-site has an alcove in the tile wall to place items. -Most doors could use a shot of WD-40 as they all squeak- something that could disturb a light sleeper. As I said, not big issues just 2 things for the owner to be aware of.

My stay here was great! I was there for two weeks with my husband and three children. I have to admit because the price seemed too good to be true and the photos didn’t really convince me, I was a little worried at first BUT i was happily surprised. The Master bathroom has it’s own bathroom. The two bedrooms have two beds each (so we had an extra bed in the room where my son stayed). Each area has AC. All of the appliances are new. There was sufficient plates, mugs, silverware etc. I did rent a car so it was easy for us to get to beach, and explore. On the days we had activities planned we would leave very early in the morning and come back very late at night there was always someone very attentive at the gate to let us in and out. It was safe to drive in Quintana Roo and we never had any issues. The days we stayed in we enjoyed a nice quiet time by the pool. other family members rented a much bigger place right at the Quinta Avenida & though it was nice that it was right by the beach, their stove didn’t work, water pressure was not good, it was loud at night because of the clubs and there were big roaches!(& They paid a lot more!) I am so glad I didn’t change my mind and cancel my booking because I definitely liked where we stayed, we felt safe and I would most definitely stay here again! All good - nice clean very spacious apartament. Swimming pool available - kids were happy. Typical accomodation places in Mexico are below average but this appartment surprised us positively. No TV channels but working NETFLIX is a big +

If the owner would change these funny bulbs/lights in the apartament. This place would be 10/10. Internet password - please write it clearly on the board otherwise we had spent 30 minutes to figure it out.

The location was great. The pool was fantastic.

The cleanliness was abysmal to be quite frank. The locked area where the washing machine is being stored was filthy and stuff thrown all over the place which is not nice to see in plain sight. I feel like the owner (who seems to live abroad) is being given the round around by those looking after it as the place is not being kept up to a good enough standard. The place has a lot of potential. Great pool and safe community. Easy deliveries of food but this place needs a complete clean from top to bottom. Some of the bed sheets had hairs already on them so I speculate they were not changed. If they can fix this issue, which is easily fixable with a few hours of cleaning then it has great potential.
