CIVETTHOUSE : la casa delle civette

A new experience staying in our "little Hobbit cave" and one we will always remember. Very kind and helpful hosts, both Dom and Ezia. Clean, comfortable beds, EXCELLENT location close to the main town, supermarkets and beach.

This property is probably more suited to couples, rather than families. There is a lack of storage space for luggage and clothes, with only one wardrobe in the smaller bedroom. Although the hosts have done their best with the space, preparing and cooking in this home is rather impractical. In saying that, if you are not intending to do any food prep/cooking, there would be no issue. There is also a lack of natural light, but this is expected in this type of traditional stone home.

The location was great and the facilities adequate for us.

There are lots of stairs which is a challenge with children but that is typical for the area and property.

L’emplacement est vraiment top. La bonne rue pour les restaurant mais aussi pour voir la mer au dessus des falaises. La plage de Mona chille est à 15 min à pied. Nous avons trouvé facilement une place pour nous garer grâce à Lucrezia qui est charmante. La déco est vraiment chouette et moderne. Le plus est la terrasse sur les toits. Un régal le soir de s’asseoir pour lire sur le canapé. Nous étions 3 avec notre fils qui avait son alcôve à lui avec son lit. Nous recommandons à 100% Civetthouse.

This was one of the most beautiful locations we stayed at over our trip to Italy. The place is very spacious and decorated beautifully. It is also on the main street and a very close walk to everything you need, including the train station. We especially loved the rooftop outdoor space which was completed with beautiful lights, making it comfortable and beautiful to sit outside at night. We also loved that there were two bedrooms, both with tall ceilings making it feel large and comfortable. The air conditioning was also a huge bonus in the summer. Lastly, our host was absolutely incredible. She made us feel like we’ve known her for years, making us feel completely at home. She was funny, personable, very responsive over what’s app, and even ran to her house to grab us beach towels when we asked about them. At the end of our stay she insisted on driving us to the train station which was so incredibly kind. We would stay here again in a heartbeat not only for the absolutely beautiful property but for our host who went above and beyond each day we were there.

Excellent location and comfort !!

The apartment was clean, charming and in a great location. We found the beds very comfortable. The rooftop terrace was the highlight and we loved watching the sunset from there every afternoon. Lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to beautiful swimming spots.
